For a new auntie..
Here's the most recent commission I've done for the very recent Auntie Lydia! There's about a 1.5cm margin around all to account for making sure placement int he frame can be as accurate as possible - I'm not just messy.. promise :) (though I do have to take full responsibility to the poor quality iPhone photo). Be back soon! xx

Project Pollock!
So the latest thing I've been busy on is what I like to call Project Pollock. Daddy, Jakey and Reuben all have guitars - in size order (the exemption being Reuben's ukulele). If the three little bears had guitars - this is what they'd look like - just adorable. The lovely family asked me a while back to design something musical to be painted on the boys' bedroom wall. The design is below - and this is how far I got today (apologies for the poor photo quality). Watch out for the finished article soon!

Long Awaited Return
I've been pretty awful at keeping this up to date with what I've been doing. Though I had a wonderfully joyful Christmas, I've been working away on university projects, while writing a dissertation and doing other fun bits and bobs.
With coursework being completed for the semester and having worked my socks off to get the dissertation written before the due date, I've been graced with some time to do some more personal commissions... so watch this space!
In the meantime, I'll leave you with some stuff I've been doing for my course over the past 4 months...

The cold COLD winter
A couple of weeks ago I took a step out into what seemed to be the coldest of all days.. but for a very exciting reason. A market stall!! Yes a market stall, may sound dull (and I'll be honest, there were points where I would have rather been anywhere but in that freezing cold), but it was a very exciting day for me - plus I had a pretty hunky Santa keeping me company. It was the first time I have ever put any of my stuff up for grabs - in the flesh. It was frightening, but so much fun! And to top it off - it was a success! But to be honest I was as happy with the pausing of a passer by to look, and to hear kind words as people pondered around, as I was with a sale. All in all it's given me an ever greater passion for the simple thing I try my best to do - make things pretty!
